Targets:
The target of this project is the  Construction and Development of a High Resolution Spectrograph for astronomical Use. The  requirements for the Spectrograph Design were:

Optical Design:
The Spectrograph is a classical slit-spectrograph, the Optical Datas are listed below:

Mechanical Design:
All optical Components of the Spectrograph are mounted on a Groundplane made out of Multiplex (Wood). Other components are made out of Aluminium. The slit is mounted in a slit-observation-unit,(SOU) which is used to guide the star. Below some Construction-Plans of the SOU are listed:

First results:

The lines in direction of dispersion are caused by dust on the slit

Sun spectrum reduced with vspec. On the x-axis: Angstrom, on the y-axis: Counts.

Conclusion:
The resolution of the spectrograph at H-alpha is approx. 14700 (measured via the FWHM of a neon-line next to H-alpha). This could be improved by a better adjustment of the spectrograph.
There are still problems with the acquisition of star spectra. In my opinion a possible reason for this issue, could be a problem with the slit observation unit. Therefore a new, improved slit-oberservation-unit (SOU) is required.
